| Bambula Spirit Drum |
Our Bambula Spirit Drums are created
using reclaimed/recovered wood from
houses that have been remodeled or
demolished in the city of New Orleans.
We cut the wood creating a cylinder, we
plane and sand to shape and prepare the
shell. Then each drum is painted to
reflect its spirit. We pull the head using a
roping technique that make it easy to
adjust tension to tune drum.
