Nolaswamp is a collaboration of the talents of
New Orleans Artists Peter Boutté and Annie Watts
Our art starts with images captured by artist Peter Boutté.
Using self taught techniques on the computer, he transforms the
images into digital works of art.
The images are of New Orleans, our home. They capture the spirit
and culture of the city and its people.
Peter prints the images on canvas, papers and fabrics.
Peter and Annie take the images and combine them with wood, paint,
canvas, fabrics, paper, leather, glass, and other mediums to create
our own style of contemporary folk art.
All our art is exclusively produced by the two of us, from conception
of the original image, to final packaging.
We are back in New Orleans after a long time away.
